Guidelines for Abstract Submissions (For Review) Refereed or Non-Refereed

Papers are being called relating to all areas of research in enabling education, including the following topics: 

The enabling/support of learning by:

  • NESB students
  • prisoners
  • Indigenous people
  • students and trainees in the VET sector, higher education sector, or by other adult education providers including community organisations and in the non-formal adult education sector (including preparatory and articulation programs)
  • disadvantaged youth
  • people from disadvantaged backgrounds and/or in circumstances of personal disadvantage
  • people in programs that are preparatory for higher education.

When submitting your abstract for review please note the following:

  • the deadline for submission of abstracts is 17 July 2009 for refereed and 31 July for non refereed papers  (for review)
  • maximum of two papers for full registration and one for student registration or day registration.
  • all papers will be peer reviewed for originality, quality of content and relevance to be included in the conference proceedings.

Submissions of abstracts consisting of no more than 250 words are requested. The Program Committee will evaluate all abstracts for inclusion in the Conference Program.
