The conference will be held at the Allison Dickson Lecture Theatre (Building H), Toowoomba campus, University of Southern Queensland.
Opened in 1967, The University of Southern Queensland campus has television studios, a state of-the-art library, performing arts theatre, concert hall, sciences and engineering laboratories, a sports and recreation centre and many sports grounds. The campus also has numerous retail facilities, including the bookshop, post office, doctor, gymnasium, travel agent, hairdresser, banks and ATMs. You'll even find Australia's largest traditional Japanese Garden adjacent to the campus, a wonderful spot to sit and eat lunch.
Located just two hours west of Brisbane, and two and a hours from the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast beaches the University of Southern Queensland has three residential colleges providing over 400 accommodation rooms and is in close proximity to the CBD and public transport.
Toowoomba
Nestled on the Great Dividing Range escarpment at an altitude of seven hundred metres above sea level, Toowoomba city affords breathtaking views of Table Top Mountain and the Lockyer Valley region across the East. Alongside the breathtaking views, Toowoomba's climate can best be described as pleasant with temperature ranges averaging a cool 5"C to 16'C in winter and a mild 10"C to 27'C in summer.
Australia's largest inland provincial city after Canberra, the nation's capital, Toowoomba and the Darling Downs has plenty to see and do – from boutique wineries, stylish cafes, galleries, heritage exhibitions and museums to rugged national parks, antique stores, spectacular lookouts, gracious old hotels and stunning gardens.
