Postdoctoral Teaching/Research Fellow in Surveying and Spatial Science

The Faculty of Engineering and Surveying seeks to appoint a Postdoctoral Teaching/Research Fellow at its Toowoomba campus. The appointee will be working as part of a group of professionals committed to the high quality educational preparation of engineers, surveyors and spatial scientists.
This full-time appointment will be for a period of three years.
We seek a motivated, energetic team player whose duties will include teaching of spatial science courses at the undergraduate and potentially postgraduate level, research and professional collaboration activities. This will be an excellent opportunity for an early career researcher to develop their teaching and research portfolio.
Applicants should possess a PhD (or have submitted for examination) in a relevant spatial science or surveying discipline, be able to demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching undergraduate students and/or the capacity to conduct a program of research in one or more of the following relevant fields: Land Surveying, Geodetic Surveying and Satellite Positioning, Surveying Computations, Land Development or Land Administration.
Appointment at either Level B or C will be dependent on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
Salary:
USQ Academic Level B $68,357 to $80,796 pa
USQ Academic Level C $83,282 to $95,720 pa
