The CAIRSS-ANDS eResearch Repository Liaison Officer is responsible for liaison to institutions via repository managers to promote and foster an understanding of the Australian National Data Service (ANDS) activities and the role institutional repositories will play in ANDS. The position reports directly to the Manager (Software Research and Development Laboratory), as part of the CAIRSS-ANDS project being hosted by USQ.
The position will utilise the existing CAUL Australian Institutional Repository Support Service (CAIRSS) communication avenues to ensure information is relayed to repository managers via an established forum and assist ANDS in developing policy recommendations, after consultation with institutional repository managers and CAIRSS stakeholders.
Appointment is available on a 12 month full-time fixed term basis.
Applicants should have a degree with relevant and demonstrated experience in institutional repository management. A demonstrated understanding of the ANDS framework and objectives is essential.
Salary:
USQ Staff Level 9 $79,745 to $84,370pa plus an industry loading.
