Attend our Orientation program

Our Orientation program will give you the best start to your studies at USQ. Information sessions and fun activities are organised to assist you with life at USQ, and understanding Australian culture. Our information sessions will provide information on:

  • Accommodation
  • Banking
  • Cultural adjustment
  • Visa
  • Overseas Health Cover Insurance
  • Student support services, including computing services, language and teaching support services
  • Campus tours,
  • The USQ Library, and much more!

Access your USQ support network

We are here to help you with each step in your journey. Take advantage of the support facilities available to you at USQ, so you can have the best study experience:

  • Student Relationship Officers – USQ is dedicated to supporting you throughout your studies, and from the moment you enrol you will have your own Student Relationship Officer (SRO) to answer all of your questions.
  • Student Guild – the Student Guild offers services such as: academic advocacy and representation, assistance to sport and cultural clubs, legal advice, equipment hire and sporting, recreational, cultural and personal development programs and activities.
  • Emergency Student Assistance Hotline- Your welfare and safety is of utmost importance to USQ. Therefore, we have a student assistance hotline, specifically for International students. If it’s late and you need help, call 1800 689 410.
  • Multicultural network- this network is made up of people from a range of cultural backgrounds and can help you with issues you may face while studying. USQ embraces multiculturalism and provides you with spiritual support appropriate to your needs.
