How to apply

Applying to study at USQ as a Study Abroad or Exchange student is simple.

Step 1 Make sure you meet the USQ Study Abroad and Exchange entry requirements.
Step 2


Complete the Study Abroad and Exchange application form (PDF *160KB).

Note: On the application form, please clearly mark whether you are an Exchange or Study Abroad student and nominate which subjects you wish to take at USQ.

Step 3


Include with your application, certified copies of academic transcripts and English language results (if required). A teacher, lawyer, police officer or someone else of authority can certify your documents with an ink stamp clearly displaying their name and title.

Note: All documents must be translated into English and original documents must not be sent.

When do I need to apply?

This will depend on what semester you wish to study:

Semester 1 (March-June):  Application to be received by 30 November (of the previous year)
Semester 2 (July-November):  Application to be received by 31 March.

Has my application been successful?

We will endeavour to process your application within 48 hours. Once you application has been processed and you have been successful, an offer package will be sent to you. You will then be required to:

Step 1 Read all of the information contained within our offer package. Complete and return the Acceptance of Offer form by the due date.

Once we receive your Acceptance of Offer, USQ will issue an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE). You will require the eCOE to apply for your student visa.

Note: If you need to arrange airport pickup and/or accommodation, please complete and return the appropriate forms (as indicated on your electronic Offer Letter).
