Twelfth Night
Guest Director Lewis Jones
Designer Carolyn Taylor-Smith
Composer Russell Bauer
Shakespeare’s great romantic comedy played out on a starlit stage.
When lookalike twins Viola and Sebastian are separated in a shipwreck, tragedy quickly turns to comedy when they wash up on the shores of Illyria; a land populated by some of Shakespeare’s greatest comic inventions, including the irrepressible Sir Toby Belch, the sensationally stupid Sir Andrew Aguecheek and the thoroughly despicable Malvolio.
It’s a rocky path to true love in this hilarious tale of mistaken identity, unrequited love and outrageous antics.
If music be the food of love … play on! Act I, Sc I
