‘Visualise your dream and do whatever it takes to get there'.

After experiencing different learning environments, Connor knew he wanted a uni which supported and motivated him to strive for his dreams. Connor’s journey to become a combat paramedic in the Army has begun with USQ’s Bachelor of Paramedicine.

‘I want a career that was both challenging, full of action and that helps people, not just your regular job. I feel privileged, lucky, and extremely fortunate to be a USQ student. It feels like family. One of the things that appeals to me about the army is the comradeship. You’re not doing it for just yourself you’re doing it for your mates and USQ has that feel. I feel a sense of purpose if I can help someone else.’

‘The passion the lecturers have is awesome. The content taught is practical and relates to real world knowledge. The level of knowledge of the lecturers is great. The staff are exceptional.’
