Tips for during the exam

  • Think positively: opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and understanding.
  • Stick to exam plan.
  • Read instructions slowly.
  • Start with most confident questions
  • Let yourself smile.
  • If mind goes blank:
    • write anything you know about topic
    • brainstorm ideas
    • move to another question
    • take short time-out and use relaxation techniques

  • Avoid post mortems and dwelling on what could have been.
  • Don’t be too hard on yourself if you didn’t perform to your expectations.
