Coordinator commas
- When using a coordinating conjunction, a comma joins elements of equal importance in a sentence. These elements can be in the form of:
a clause: It is sunny today (Clause), yet it is cold (Clause).
a list of words: Susan loves swimming, jogging and cycling.
a number of phrases: Students have to study in the evenings, over weekends and during the holidays.
