Semi Colons and Colons
Colons when citing (in-text and end-text)
- Within a paragraph, some referencing styles use colons to introduce long direct quotations or one that starts at the beginning of a sentence.
- In a reference list, some styles use colons to separate the main title from the subtitle of a book, or article.
