Adjective clauses
An adjective clause (AC) is a dependent clause that acts like an adjective.
- It adds meaning to a noun (N) or pronoun (P).
- It starts with words like who, whom, which, that, where, when.
This is the athlete (N) who won the trophy (AC).
Those (P) who studied hard (AC) received good grades.
