Simple sentences
Simple sentences (4): a compound subject and a compound verb
- Sometimes you can have two subjects (a compound subject) which are both connected to two verbs (a compound verb).
- Both the head (main) nouns or pronouns and the verbs are joined by coordinating conjunctions:
My TV and my DVD (S) weren’t (V1) very expensive but work (V2) very well.
