What is academic misconduct?
Academic misconduct involves unfairly giving a student an unauthorised advantage relative to other students with regard to an examination or other assessment items. It includes, but is not limited to, collusion, plagiarism, contract cheating, impersonation of a student or university employee, and failure to comply with examination or assessment instructions.
What is academic integrity?
Academic integrity includes a commitment not to engage in, or tolerate, acts of falsification, misrepresentation or deception. Such acts of dishonesty violate the fundamental ethical principles of the USQ community and compromise the value of work completed by others.
