You are encouraged to try to resolve your issue informally in the first instance.
If you remain dissatisfied with a decision made by USQ, you are able to lodge a request to have the decision reviewed. According to the Review of Decision Procedure, there are a variety of types of decisions for review.
Review of Decision requests can only be made where documentary evidence of one of the following grounds accompanies your request:
- the appropriate policy or procedure was not followed or correct procedures were not followed in considering or handling the matter
- the decision was made without considering the facts, evidence or circumstances
- the decision was clearly incorrect or unjust, or the penalty, where applicable, exceeds the nature of the offence.
