Ceremony Registration before midnight Thursday 26 March 2020 Ceremony Fee Payment before midnight Thursday 26 March 2020 Guest Ticket Bookings open 10.00am Monday 30 March 2020 until midnight Sunday 12 April 2020. You are allowed a maximum of 4 guests over 18months of age at this ceremony. If additional guest seats become available, all graduands will be advised of this at the same time by UMail in the week prior to the ceremony. Tickets will not available on ceremony day! |

Registration & gowning for graduates |
Graduands must arrive by no later than 8.00am to the Cunningham Room, Ipswich Civic Centre. You must be seated at the Ipswich Civic Centre according to your Seating Card by 9.30am. You will not be seated with your guests during the ceremony. |
Registration & gowning for Doctoral graduates |
Doctoral graduands must arrive by no later than 8.00am to the Academic & VIP Gowning Room, Ipswich Civic Centre. You must be ready to assemble for the Academic Procession by 9.30am. You will be seated onstage for the duration of the ceremony. *excludes Juris Doctor |
Ceremony duration |
Your ceremony will take approximately 1 hour. |
Guests |
Your guests will be able to enter the venue from 9.00am. Ensure you have given a digital or print copy guest ticket/s including the QR code to your guests – ushers will be scanning all guest tickets at the entrance to the venue. All children over 18months must have a ticket. Children are welcome at the ceremony but please make sure they are supervised, stay seated and are quiet during the ceremony. Please leave prams in the pram parking area. |
Light refreshments |
After the ceremony, light refreshments will be served on the terrace from 11.00am to 12.00pm. Your graduation is a celebration, but please be aware that USQ ceremonies are alcohol-free. |
Studio photography |
Silver Rose Photography will be available to take studio photographs of you and your guests before and after the ceremony. You will be able to purchase your stage photo immediately after the ceremony from their photo kiosk. |
Gowning returns |
Your loaned academic gowning must be returned within 1 hour of the conclusion of the ceremony - no later than 11.30am |
