USQ Phoenix Central and the USQ Law Society present Jerome Doraisamy.
Jerome is a young lawyer based in Sydney and is the author of The Wellness Doctrines for law students and young lawyers, which has been depicted as a 'survival guide' for new law students, incoming and current legal graduates and other young lawyers.
Hear Jerome speak about his personal stories on topics including struggles of managing study, good health, a social life and work commitments. Jerome will also discuss key issues tertiary students might face including, detoxing from technology and social media tips, navigating isolation and distance education struggles, healthy eating pattern tips, combating detrimental personality traits, which will conclude with Jerome sharing proactive approaches to managing the many issues faced by all students and maintaining your mental and physical wellbeing.
Held in the USQ Toowoomba TV Studio and streamed live online the event is open to all on-campus and online students.
The on-campus session includes a networking session following the formal presentation, with USQ staff, the law community and guest presenter Jerome Doraisamy.
