What made USQ's Online Career Fair great for you?
In this short video hear about the benefits of attending USQ's Online Career Fair from students who attended in previous years.
If you're a soon-to-be graduate or even just starting your studies, USQ's Online Career Fair will get you thinking, build your connections and help you prepare for your future career!
This fair will enable you to DISCOVER internships, vacation work and/or graduate opportunities, will virtually CONNECT you with employers and help PREPARE you to reach your career goal. You will be able to join in from any mobile, tablet or computer.

The Exhibition Hall will open for USQ's Online Career Fair from the 9 - 13 March. Here you will be able to view a range of virtual booths for each organisations. You will have the option to filter by what you're looking for, whether this be an internship or graduate opportunity, and further by your study area which will only display booths relevant to your selected area (e.g. engineering).
Scroll through the booths, check out their resources, videos and their jobs board to find out more about the organisation and opportunities. Use this time to identify which of these organisations you would be interested in chatting with during the live chat!

To complement USQ's Online Career Fair, the Career Insights Conference is designed to support USQ students in gaining knowledge and understanding of opportunities and practical tips to increase their chances of career success.

When is the live chat?
Live chat will be open from 10am - 1pm on Thursday the 12 March (AEST) during USQ's Online Career Fair.
Who can you live chat with?
Live chat with employer representatives who have a virtual booth at USQ's Online Career Fair. The employer booths will open for viewing from 9 March. Take this opportunity to login, have a look at the organisations, their resources and opportunities to identify who you would like to chat with during the live chat session.
How do you access the live chat?
Official registrations will open by February 20. You will receive your login details for the online platform once you register but you will not be able to login to the platform until 9 March 2020.
During the live chat period (10am - 1pm, 12 March (AEST)), you can login to the platform, visit the organisations' virtual booths and live chat (through messaging) to the organisational representatives manning that booth.
What can you chat about?
Here you can introduce yourself and start a conversation to better your understanding of opportunities or organisation, the recruitment process and to highlight your motivation and interest in being a part of the company.
If you're just starting your studies and not ready to apply for the positions that are available, this is the perfect chance to connect with these employers and ask what they look for in applicants. Use this opportunity to build these important connections and your understanding of what you can work towards during your studies to develop the desired skills, experience and qualities that employers seek.

The evening prior to the live chat session, the USQ Careers and Employability team will be presenting a webinar on Professional Communication. This presentation will provide you with some tips to communicating professionally, particularly for this Live Chat session with the Employers.

Give feedback on your online career fair experience
Go into the chance to win 1 of the 100 prizes on offer. Each prize will be a Coles Myer Gift Card, valued at $20. To enter simply register for the USQ's Online Career Fair and at the conclusion of the event complete the feedback survey which you will receive through email.

Find the drone, go into the chance to win a drone
Go into the chance to win 1 of 3 prizes on offer. Each prize will be a DJI Tello Drone, valued at $128. To enter simply register and attend USQ's Online Career Fair and locate the picture of the drone hidden within the pages of the Career Fair platform. Click on the picture and submit the entry form. There is a limit of 1 entry per day, per person. Entry is limited to USQ current students or graduates who reside in Australia.
