Keeping active is important for your general wellbeing. If your body is strong, your mind follows. This week we're all going to move together!
You may find that some days are busier and you don’t have much time to exercise. If this is the situation for you, don’t worry, we have a number of activities that are only 10 minutes in length or stretch to 1 hour.
This weeks’ Let’s Move activities encourage you to try some different.
Monday 4 May
Let's ease into the week's activities with a Yoga session. Choose from 10 minutes, 30 minutes or 60 minutes.
USQ Running Club
Join USQ Sport’s Running Club. You choose the distance based on your ability. Get outside, soak up the sunshine, smell the fresh air!

Coffee Chats with USQ Wellness
Coffee Chats with USQ Wellness involves two wellness educators talking about different topics each week; all about how we can keep ourselves on track in life and study at this time. This is a relaxed conversation, learning from each other and hearing ideas, to empower you to enhance your own life. It’s most definitely not a therapy session, so grab a coffee and let's chat!
Today's session is "Be your own shrink" which will run from 1.30-2.00pm.
Ipswich SRC Brunchy Munchy - Crazy Hat Day
Join the SRC for a Mother's Day craft themed Brunchy Munchy (from 9.30-10.30am), and a Mother's Day themed game of Pictionary. The winners of Pictionary will receive a prize.
Wednesday 6 May
Show us your moves! Today’s program is ACTIVE and will definitely get you moving and grooving. Join the Free Les Mills Classes of Hip Hop (16 minutes), Dance House (16 minutes) or Body Combat (8 minutes). Do 1 or all 3 sessions, the decision is yours!
Shadow boxing with The Works
Join The Works (USQ) for a Shadow Boxing class from 12.00pm.
Thursday 7 May
The beginning of the week was about being active. Focus now in the moment by listening to the Crystal Healing Bowls, a Guided Meditation or participate in chanting. Find a quiet place, dim the lights and just listen.
Friday 8 May
USQ Mindful Moments - Take some time for yourself by joining us for 15 minutes to engage in a mindful activity and promote relaxation to increase your wellness.
