One of the hardest parts of freelancing is knowing and setting your value! This session will guide you through all the considerations of how to calculate your rates, and how best to communicate these to potential clients. We will look at packages, price increases and more.

This Zoom series addresses what you need to know about working for yourself as a freelancer or consultant – everything from legal and accounting to marketing and client relations. Each session will end with a Q&A and you are invited to submit your questions, so make sure you come ready to participate!

The series will be hosted by Phoebe Tully, USQ’s Senior Project Coordinator (Entrepreneurship), who has worked as a freelance consultant herself for 10 years. Her background is particularly in copywriting and project management. She will also be joined by industry experts on the topics of accounting and legal. This is an unmissable series for anyone who is looking to freelance, consult or build a portfolio career.
