This workshop will see you designing, sculpting and casting a combination of small found objects and handmade low relief sculptures made from plasticine. This process, which is exciting and relatively quick, will see you make a number of moulds and castings across the two days of the workshop.
You will use silicone for the mould making, and resins and plaster to cast. As a bonus the moulds you will create in this workshop are reusable, meaning you’ll be set up to cast away at home.
Low relief casting is a method of sculpture in which the designs stand out from the surface.
