This two-day workshop will introduce you to a range of approaches to editing a short story.
Participants will submit a short story to the workshop, which will be shared with fellow workshop participants. Over the course of the two-day workshop, you will be invited to participate in a range of creative editing and rewriting exercises to help you imaginatively destroy and re-story your work.

Dr Nike Sulway is an award-winning writer of short fiction and full-length novels.
Her publications include the novels The Bone Flute, The True Green of Hope, Dying in the First Person, Rupetta and What The Sky Knows.
She have been awarded the QLD Premier’s Literary Award, short-listed for two Children’s Book Council of Australia awards, and was short-listed for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, Asia Pacific Region.
Nike currently coordinates the creative writing courses at USQ.
