“Line Speed” will explore physical, and psychological spaces through drawing either at a leisurely stroll, at speed or on a leash.
Paul Klee once compared drawing as the act of “taking a line for a walk”.
Line Speed rephrases this as the question “Drawing is taking a line for a…..?”.
Drawing student, past and present, are asked to respond and to define what this line in space might be – a verb, an action or perhaps a pet.
