Exhibition: Naidoc (Cancelled)

Due to the Australian Government's latest advice, unfortunately this event has been cancelled.
23 JUN - 22 JUL 2020
9.00 AM - 5.00 PM
USQ Arts Gallery - A Block, Toowoomba Campus

This exhibition is part of an ongoing series devoted to Australian Indigenous art and culture. The series is curated by Robyn Heckenberg from the College of Indigenous Studies, Education and Research, and David Akenson from the department of Visual Arts at USQ.

Each year the exhibition showcases the talent, knowledge and culture of indigenous artists from our region and beyond. Taking our cue from the theme of NAIDOC each year, our aim is to encourage engagement with the emerging issues, but also the perennial concerns of Australia’s First Nations people. Ultimately, our aim is to engage in dialogue and facilitate the sharing of this rich culture as part of the University of Southern Queensland’s ongoing commitment to reconciliation.
