Directed by Marcus Oborn
Fear, jealousy, love and betrayal run through the sleepy village of Salem.
As the threat of the supernatural looms over the town, no one is safe. Neighbours turn on neighbours, friends turn on friends, and a community is torn apart on the strength of words alone.
Arthur Miller’s timeless exploration of blind faith, mob mentality and the fear of the unknown continues to pose the question as to whether we are on the right side of history.
Join Company 2020 as we reach the melting point of the destructive union of the Church and State in 1692 Salem.
The USQ Arts Theatre is located in ‘A’ block at the University of Southern Queensland Toowoomba campus, just six kilometres from Toowoomba’s city centre.
