The University of Southern Queensland provides an opportunity for the Discovery Experience Trailer to visit your school to engage your students in Years 7 - 12 and deliver a wide variety of hands-on activities to inspire students to discover future career possibilities.
The Experience Trailer aims to:
- Provide an immersive experience to help cement students’ future study direction and ultimately choose higher education as a pathway
- Promote university pathway and undergraduate programs to school students
- Promote university life and the learning journey through interaction with academics, student ambassadors and current students
- Provide an impressionable experience for students that incorporates relevant information around higher education access, support available and career outcome options for students, post-high school.
Examples of proposed activities (which align with university program offerings) include, but not limited too:
- Agricultural Science
- Aviation (Drones)
- Biomedical Science
- Creative Arts
- Film, TV and Radio
- Food Science
- Law and Criminology
- Nursing
- Paramedicine
- Sport and Exercise
- Surveying and GPS (Drones)
Schools can register for the Discovery Experience Days and choose:

| 2 hrs | 75 - 100 |
| 3 hrs | 100 - 150 |
| 4 hrs | 150 - 200 |
| 6 hrs | 200+ |
Schools who are interested in the delivery of these workshops need to register your expression of interest. Once you have registered your preferred date, a USQ representative will contact you to confirm your booking.
