About the Workshop
In these sessions we will delve into what it really takes to be a professional drummer, isolating the necessary skills needed to perform today’s music. We will cover many topics including: developing great practice habits, making the band groove, learning songs for performance fast, ergonomics and stress free drumming, listening, versatility and gear selection. Each sectional will begin with group warm ups and technique sessions so please bring practice pads (on stands if possible), sticks and brushes. In each sectional we will combine other learnings from ensembles and electives, working on any issues that the individuals have. Come along with questions and an open mind - these drum lessons are for all future professionals! Drums with Reuben Bradley.
