Facilities Management
Facilities Management plans, develops and manages the University's physical environment and specialist soft services across the USQ estate, in support of the University's mission and goals. Specific areas of responsibility include carriage of the University's environmental agenda, capital and minor works projects, land and building acquisitions and disposals, commercial tenancy management, lease negotiation, development and management, buildings and grounds maintenance, office relocations, furniture recycling, printing and media services, campus bookshops, event support, portering, crisis and emergency management, central stores, mailroom, cleaning, pool vehicles, shuttle buses, security and parking.
To ensure our operations are consistent with USQ’s mission and vision, the Facilities Management Strategic Plan 2017-2020 has been developed to guide our initiatives for the next few years. Additionally, Facilities Management has a strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety initiatives and we invite stakeholders to read our Workplace Health and Safety Plan 2016-2020.
