Facilities Management is responsible for both maintenance and furniture removal for all 3 campuses.
Maintenance services provided by USQ Facilities Management include:
- carpentry, joinery and general building works
- floor coverings
- pest control and vermin removal (Including possums)

Furniture removal requests
Facilities Management also provides a limited furniture removal service. Further details can be found in our Furniture Removal Guidelines.
For any furniture removal requests please log an online request detailing what has to be moved, its current location and target location.
Please contact Facilities Management immediately if a snake is sighted on campus.
The USQ Maintenance team is available primarily to assist with the set up of core university events such as:
- Open Day
- Phoenix Day
- Harmony Day
- Carnival of Flowers Float
- Staff Awards
- Vice-Chancellor and Chancellor's functions
- Official openings
If you require assistance for other events please lodge an online request outlining the event and the help required. A minimum of 4 weeks notice is required.
Facilities Management reserve the right to engage contract staff to undertake such works when resourcing requires. These costs will be charged back to the requester.
