About the School of Psychology and Counselling

The School of Psychology and Counselling is dedicated to developing accredited psychology and human services professionals. The School’s focus is on teaching, research, and engagement which are of the highest standard to ensure that our graduates have relevant knowledge and transferable skills that are useful in addressing complex problems.

We offer professionally accredited programs in psychology (undergraduate, honours, postgraduate) and human services/counselling (undergraduate) as well as drug and alcohol studies (postgraduate). The School of Psychology and Counselling is a leader in incorporating work-integrated learning and applied research in its undergraduate and post graduate programs through collaboration with a wide range of employers and community organisations. 

Our staff members are practising professionals and researchers who are experienced and skilled in teaching a wide variety of students, in a range of study modes, anywhere in the world.
