From education to employment: Utilising gamification of learning for employability skills development in online distance learning environments

Using an online interactive gamified activity, students will be provided with opportunities to develop and enhance their business skills and 'soft skills' such as team work and leadership. This activity will support the development and improvement of employability skills, as well as promote learning that bridges theory with practice and life experience. Providing these opportunities to students will build their capabilities and attributes to help them become better prepared for the workforce with the skills that employers are seeking.
Partners in Literacy and Numeracy (PLaN) into Head Start: aims to strengthen our Pre-Service Teachers' school based experience while providing in school face-to-face support to Secondary students studying Head Start

Providing our students with work-based learning and opportunities is critical to supporting their career-readiness and confidence. In this project, pre-service teachers will be connected with schools to gain further classroom experience and to support the Head Start program. The pre-service teachers will be provided with additional opportunities to apply their knowledge and use their skills in the classroom, and their students will be given additional support in their pre-University studies.
