Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) and a Sector of Philosophy (PhD) from the Sydney College of Arts and is represented by Minus Space in Brooklyn, New York.
Having exhibited both nationally and internationally, his work is represented in the collections of Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery, Artbank, QANTAS, the Esbjerg Museum (Denmark) and private collections in Australia, USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, England and France.
His professional practice is multi-disciplinary incorporating painting, installation, photography, film, drawing, architecture, sound and furniture design that deal with evolving issues of simultaneity within conceptual based abstraction.
Not only does he lead, guide and inspire the current students of USQ, but this collection asset will ensure this inspiration continues for many years yet to come.
