This one-day event (9.45am – 3.00pm) to be held at USQ Springfield will bring together high-level quality researchers in the field of Education to share their perspectives and strategies in initiating and fostering international partnerships to enhance high quality research outcomes, particularly in FoR13. As Education is an overarching goal of the 2016-2020 USQ Strategic Plan this session is relevant to all researchers at USQ.
The day will begin with an external focus with a panel of experts including Professor Robyn Ewing (University of Sydney) and Professor Julianne Moss (Deakin University). This session will include breakout tables and a discussion of key points and strategies focussed on further enhancing USQ’s approach to international partnerships.
The afternoon session will have an internal focus with USQ experts including Professor John Bell (Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Innovation), Ms Guie Hartney (Director of International Relations and Global Partnerships, USQ International), Dr Graham Wise (International Marketing, Admissions and Business Development, USQ International), and Mr Phillip Eastment (USQ International – Operations). They will provide important information and insights into USQ’s current initiatives and direction involving international partnerships. This session will draw through the information from the external focus panel through breakout tables to consider key strategies to initiate, foster and enhance international partnerships for researchers working in FOR13.
