The theme of this three day summit is “Building Indigenous Nurse Led Research Capacity” with a purpose to facilitate the development of global relationships and partnerships for the purpose of addressing health disparities and other barriers to attainment of health equity in Indigenous Peoples around the world.

The 2019 International Indigenous Nursing Research Summit is cosponsored by the Florida State University Center for Indigenous Nursing Research for Health Equity, the congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives, the College for Indigenous Study, Education and Research and hosted by the USQ School of Nursing and Midwifery.
