This event will present ECRs will the opportunity to meet representatives and academics from the sector, explore current issues, participate in discussions around best practice related to research outcomes, and foster collaborations. 
The program will include sessions on careers and employment, applying for research funding, and publishing research, and an interactive session on establishing a digital profile as a researcher. More details are available here: and are also included in the attached flyer. 
Confirmed speakers include (in alphabetical order): Alison Barnes (NTEU), Professor Terry Flew (QUT), Dr Tseen Khoo (Research Whisperer and La Trobe University), Alexandra Lazzari (Routledge Taylor & Francis Australasia), Liz Minchin (The Conversation), Jonathan O’Donnell (Research Whisperer and RMIT University), and Professor Joanne Tompkins (Australian Research Council).
The registration fee for ECRs from USQ will be $50pp +GST (CHASS member rate), and lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
