Mental health is an important component of health. Maintaining good mental wellbeing at the workplace is vital for wellbeing as well as organisation growth. The purpose of this research is to develop a workplace mental wellbeing scale intended for use in the Singapore context and to determine its impact on employee outcomes within common organisation factors. We expect that employees who have high level of workplace mental wellbeing would buffer the negative impact of negative encounter at Singapore workplaces by positively influencing the intra-personal process leading to positive employees’ outcomes. The research will provide a culturally meaningful screening tool for mental wellbeing at the Singapore workplace and inform the development of effective and relevant interventions.
