Green supply chain management (GSCM) is essential in influencing the overall environmental impact of all organizations involved in a firm’s supply chain activities. As well as, it also contributes to the sustainability performance of organisations (Chin et al. 2015). Small enterprises require greater awareness of sustainable practices in the supply chain, to be more responsible for both their customers and suppliers. Little research has been done to examine how Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) can improve environmental conditions in the supply chain (Pedersen et al. 2009) In the research we investigate drivers in the green supply chain and the effect of internal and external green practices against company performance measures for SMEs in manufacturing/production in Australia.
