Undergraduate nursing students are required to be able to provide written reflections on practice during their preparation to becoming registered nurses. The integration of evidence-based practice (EBP) into these reflections is required to provide a high level of reflection. There is available literature regarding both reflective practice and EBP singularly, but not the integration of EBP into reflection.
This qualitative study will investigate these two factors and the integration from the perspective of the undergraduate nursing students enrolled at USQ. The aim of the study is to develop a knowledgebase regarding the student perspective of the integration of EBP into reflection which may then guide future teaching and learning.
