Fake news is dominating the way we portray important medical information to the public. In order to ensure that evidence based information is provided, it is imperative that we attempt to limit the damage that fake news can cause.
The study seeks to find whether or not film influences perception on important medical issues, and how. The research question takes a two pronged approach at tackling an important public health issue. Quantitatively, does film influence perception of public health information? Qualitatively, how are we influence when determining public health information that is provided to us through the internet?
This research will do doubt play a pivotal role in providing an evidence based approach at combating fake news in the public health sphere.
