AFAP and MBF Australian Air Pilots Bursary

In 2021, USQ offered one AFAP and MBF Australian Air Pilots Bursary to support one student entering their second year of the Bachelor of Aviation (Flight Operations).

The Australian Federation of Air Pilots and the Australian Air Pilots Mutual Benefits Fund, have established this bursary to support and encourage students seeking careers as commercial pilots through the study of higher education aviation programs. Only students pursuing the “Flight Operations” stream of the USQ Bachelor of Aviation program are eligible to apply for the bursary.

USQ aviation students undertaking study with the intention of pursuing a career as a commercial pilot are welcome to apply for free cadet/student membership to the AFAP. For more details and information on how to apply, please visit Australian Federation of Air Pilots website.

The bursary will have a maximum value of $3000 to be paid over two years.
