USQ Residential College Scholarship 2020 – Semester 3

Applicants must:

• be an Australian citizen, have permanent resident status or be a New Zealand citizen residing permanently in Australia
• be experiencing financial need
• be commencing or continuing their studies at USQ in an undergraduate program in Semester 3 2020
  • continuing students - must have achieved satisfactory academic standing (GPA of at least 3.0) (Exceptional circumstances may be considered)
• be residing at one of the USQ Residential Colleges, Toowoomba campus
• have their principle place of residence at least 50 kilometres from the USQ Toowoomba campus (Exceptional circumstances will be considered e.g. student does not have principle place of residence or is exiting Out of Home Care)
• be enrolled in a minimum of 1 study unit in Semester 3 2020
• be enrolled on-campus, external or online.

Applicants must:

• provide evidence of financial hardship as directed in the application process
• provide evidence of having to relocate from a permanent address located at least 50 kilometres from USQ Toowoomba campus.  (If you do not have a principle place of residence at least 50km from the USQ Toowoomba campus and wish to be considered for exceptional circumstances you must provide details of your circumstances and documents to support any claims made)

*Extra consideration will be given to those students who need to relocate from more remote areas within Australia, according to the Australian Statistical Geographic Standard Remoteness Areas 2016 - refer Health Workforce Locator.

Application must be made via the USQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.
