The Doctor of Business Administration is a high-level, business-oriented doctoral research program. If you are a business professional and already have a Masters degree such as a Master of Business Administration degree, the Doctor of Business Administration will extend and develop your theoretical and empirical understanding to enable you to identify and resolve business challenges in both the private and public sectors.

- An Australian university coursework Masters degree or equivalent
- 5 years full-time equivalent work experience, including at least 2 years full-time equivalent work experience in a managerial position
- Submission of a satisfactory preliminary research proposal, as determined by the Higher Degrees Review and Admissions Committee
English Language Requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.
How to apply
Admission is dependent upon the Faculty's capacity to supervise the proposed dissertation. Prospective candidates should consult with the DBA Research Program Coordinator before preparing their preliminary dissertation proposals. Research concentrations are updated periodically.
