Health and Physical Education
USQ's Health and Physical Education degrees allow you to complete a specialised health and physical education program with either a Primary or Secondary focus.
You can become a specialised Sport, Health and Physical Education teacher, but also have the flexibility to work as a general Primary classroom teacher.
Alternatively, the Secondary specialisation qualifies you to teach Health and Physical Education up to Year 12, but you will also be able to teach up to Year 10 in another subject, making you a flexible, well-rounded educator in the secondary school environment.
Not only will you be prepared for employment in schools, but our Health and Physical Education graduates are prepared for employment in other educational settings such as coaching, recreation and the sport, health and fitness industries.
As a USQ Health and Physical Education graduate, you will be eligible to apply for teacher registration through the Queensland College of Teachers and have the skills to teach in schools elsewhere in Australia and potentially overseas.
