Start your university studies with a Foundation Diploma of University Studies if you haven’t finished Year 12 or never studied before. If you crave creativity, the Creative Arts specialisation provides the opportunity to sample music, theatre, creative media and visual arts courses. The foundation diploma is also designed to develop your general study skills in writing, mathematics and computing.
As a graduate of this program, you will be eligible to apply for direct entry into selected USQ undergraduate degrees. If you choose to go on to further studies to a Bachelor of Creative Arts or Bachelor of Arts the subjects that you choose could also count as credit toward your undergraduate degree.
As a foundation diploma graduate, you will be provided with general knowledge in preparation for a career in the arts. Further study in your chosen field can provide a pathway to your dream career.

Loan to help you pay your fees
You may not have to pay your course (subject) fees upfront. HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP allows you to defer your fees until your income reaches a certain level.
You may also be eligible to receive financial support from Centrelink.

You may be able to apply for scholarships to help with your study costs.

English Language Requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Note: You will also need to complete online tests in mathematics, e-literacy, and English communication skills to assist staff in determining your level of reading comprehension, written expression, and mathematical understanding. Complete the Diagnostic exercises and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org to commence your USQ journey.
Applying directly to USQ:
- Semester 1, 2017 - applications close Monday 20 February 2017, with Semester 1 commencing on 27 February 2017.
- Semester 2, 2017 - applications close Thursday 6 July 2017, with Semester 2 commencing on 10 July 2017.
