  • Develop skills in community engagement, communication management crisis management planning and social media communications.
  • Learn engagement techniques specific to crisis management as well as how to establish and maintain key relationships.

After completing the Graduate Certificate of Business (Crisis Management), you have the option to take the credit from your studies and go on to complete the Graduate Diploma of Business.

  • As a graduate you will be able to effectively manage the immediacy of crisis response and communication in varied roles including public relations, community engagement, and many others. 

Entry requirements

  • Completion of an Australian university Bachelor degree in any area, or equivalent.

  • A minimum of five years’ professional work experience, or equivalent. Further information on admission through work experience is available.

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

If you have previously studied in your home country, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
