USQ’s Graduate Certificate of Engineering Technology (Management in Engineering) is ideal for engineers or scientists who have a three-year degree in science, engineering or technology and want to extend their knowledge of managing current technology and the technology of our future.
Through this four unit degree, you have the option to select from a range of courses (subjects) which include assessment of future specialist technology, management of technological risk and global information systems strategy.
The Graduate Certificate of Engineering Technology is not accredited by any professional bodies, but is accredited by the University of Southern Queensland.
Management in engineering at USQ provides you with the knowledge and skills to be at the forefront of technological change and innovation within all sectors, including mining, manufacturing, farming, medicine and energy.

You may not have to pay your course (subject) fees upfront. HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP allows you to defer your fees until your income reaches a certain level.

English Language Requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

Applying directly to USQ:
- Semester 2, 2019 - applications close Friday 19 July, with semester 2 commencing on Monday 15 July 2019.
- Semester 1, 2020 - applications close Friday 28 February, with semester 1 commencing on Monday 24 February 2020.
