USQ’s Graduate Diploma of Health (Advanced Clinical Practice) is designed to further develop your specialised skills within your clinical practice. With emphasis on community health and chronic illness, this diploma will also offer the opportunity to develop expertise to promote resilience related to disaster experiences.
Successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Health will qualify you to continue on to the Master of Health, where you will have the opportunity to enhance your career opportunities as a specialist in your chosen field of study.
In addition to the courses listed below, you will also need to complete clinical experience, where interactive hands-on activities, such as experiments and use of specialist equipment, are undertaken.
All students must be able to meet the physical and other professional requirements of clinical/professional practice within this program.

Loan to help you pay your fees
You may not have to pay your course (subject) fees upfront. FEE-HELP allows you to defer your fees until your income reaches a certain level.
You may also be eligible to receive financial support from Centrelink.
Scholarships and financial assistance
You may be able to apply for scholarships to help with your study costs.
- Completed a 3-year bachelor degree in a health-related field from an Australian or internationally recognised university, or equivalent. or
- Completed a minimum of one (1) years' professional work experience equivalent to a qualification at AQF Level 8.
English Language Requirements
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

- Semester 1, 2018 - applications close Monday 19 February, with semester 1 commencing on Monday 26 February 2018.
- Semester 2, 2018 - applications close Monday 2 July, with semester 2 commencing on Monday 16 July 2018.
