Why Strategic Marketing?

As a graduate of the Strategic Marketing specialisation, you will stand out in the crowd of marketers. You will be exposed to a variety of strategic marketing techniques and issues and learn how to apply them in an international context. You will study a variety of courses including buyer behaviour, international marketing, services marketing management and strategic management and learn how to apply them to your organisation.

As a graduate, your knowledge of international business practices will allow you take on roles such as international marketing director, finance analyst, multinational manager, business development director, international trade and customs manager, international CEO or General Manager, and cross cultural business consultant.

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of an Australian university Bachelor degree in any area 
    plus
  • a minimum of one year professional work experience in business, or equivalent.

English Language Requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

  • Semester 3, 2017 - applications close Monday 6 November, with semester 3 commencing on Monday 13 November 2017.
  • Semester 1, 2018 - applications close Monday 19 February, with semester 1 commencing on Monday 26 February 2018.
  • Semester 2, 2018 – applications close Monday 2 July, with semester 2 commencing on Monday 16 July 2018.

Credit for previous study or work experience

You may be eligible for credit if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
