Overview

Studying midwifery at USQ will give you the skills to work in partnership with women antenatally during pregnancy, during and after the birth, and postnatally to support mothers transition to motherhood, helping them with breastfeeding and the care of their baby for the first six weeks of life. 

During your degree you will:

  • combine online study with residential schools and over 1200 hours of midwifery practice experience with USQ’s partner organisations
  • experience the continuity of care of a minimum of 10 women throughout their pregnancy.
