Midwifery

Studying midwifery at USQ will give you the skills to work in partnership with women during their pregnancy and during and after the birth, help with breastfeeding and the care of the baby for the first six weeks of life. What could be more satisfying than contributing to the gift of life?

The Bachelor of Midwifery (Graduate Entry) is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and designed for Registered Nurses who wish to become a registered midwife.

  • Combine 50% theory and 50% midwifery practice experience.
  • Combine online study with residential schools and over 1000 hours of midwifery practice experience with USQ’s partner organisation.
