Professional development single courses

Keep your knowledge and skills up-to-date, or explore a new area of interest, with USQ’s professional development courses.

If you don’t want to commit to a full degree, you can enrol in a single subject to upskill, cross-skill or find a new skill.

Choose from over 600 single courses across 100+ disciplines that provide you with access to our learning resources, world-class lecturers, and education facilities, and contribute to your career development.
What are single courses?
  • Each course (subject) is a ‘bite-sized’ experience, with most courses taking just one semester (6 months) to complete.
  • Our single courses are ideal if you are looking to upskill in a particular area, need to satisfy professional development requirements within your workplace, want to refresh your current skills, would like to explore a passion, or are looking for a taste of uni life.
  • Most courses can be studied online, allowing you to study on your own terms in your own time.
  • Have the opportunity to continue into your chosen USQ degree (provided you meet the degree’s entry requirements).

Full domestic tuition fees apply.

Fees will vary depending on the single course you choose to study. After finding a course that you're interested in, check our course fee tables for all the finer details.

Applying is simple, you just have to complete an online application.

Professional Development applications will close on the fee payment date for each semester. Please refer to our key dates.
